Yes. When "GC" transphobes discuss "gender," they tend to treat gender as an example of something larger. They're really making a generalizable philosophical argument against anything that's a product of the mind or relies on subjective interpretation: e.g., thoughts, feelings, concepts, virtues, indeed our selfhood. Where we read their use of "gender," we can often just plug in "self," "mind," "perception," etc. and thereby we may reveal their nonsense. At least in this narrow sense, GCs are "anti-intellectual," that is, they're skeptical of that which is generated by human intellect. With one exception: They're not skeptical of their own bedrock insistence on the importance of bodies (never mind that the importance of bodies is a judgment generated by their minds).
