Yes, or they just make it up. Haters aren't afraid to say one thing today and its opposite tomorrow. They'll contradict themselves even (and especially!) if both statements are false. For example, it isn't true that all trans people date other trans people, nor is it true that no trans people date other trans people. Haters like to make these false absolutist statements because the obvious wrongness ("that is so easy to disprove!") boosts their social media engagement. They don't want to make a nuanced factual statement (e.g., some trans people date other trans people) because either its boring and wins them no hate-engagement or else it invites genuine curiosity, real discussion, and meaningful education — exactly what they don't want.
