What I disagree with are your statements that theism and atheism are equivalent or comparable types of belief (“makes an atheist just as much of a believer as one who believes in god(s.),” per your previous comment) and that atheists are oblivious to their own philosophy (“don’t realize the obvious,” per your original comment).

If it doesn’t matter (and is just semantics, as you put it in this comment), then I don’t know why you brought it up in the first place.

In my experience, theists bring this up in an attempt to undermine atheism.
