He was influenced by the New Apostolic Reformation
On June 14, Minnesota state senator John Hoffman and his wife, Yvette, were shot at their home and were hospitalized, and then Melissa Hortman, leader of the Minnesota House Democratic caucus, and her husband, Mark, were similarly shot in their home and died.
The suspect, who had worn a realistic silicone mask and impersonated a police officer, fled into the woods and was chased by 20 SWAT teams before he “crawled to officers in surrender” a day later. Cops found notebooks in his car mentioning dozens of elected officials and abortion providers.
This is white Christian Nationalist domestic terrorism.
WIRED reports that this man, Vance Boelter,
runs an armed security service with his wife and has been affiliated with at least one evangelical organization, a ministry he has also run with his wife… [He] served for a time as the president of Revoformation Ministries… he is said to have been ordained in 1993.
