‘At Any Age’: Trump Doesn’t Want Trans People
How Trump will oppress trans people if reelected in 2024
On January 31, 2023, Donald Trump posted a video to Truth Social about how, if reelected president in 2024, he intends to make it broadly illegal or impossible for trans people to have our genders.
I believe in refraining from casually sharing transphobic messages in the hopes that I can avoid accidentally amplifying them. I share them deliberately only when the offense seems significant and when I have time to pick them apart and reveal their internally broken mechanisms. In this case, the threat is so explicitly detailed and so severe that I think it’s important to know exactly what Trump said. I watched the video because Alejandra Caraballo and Ari Drennen shared it; I might not have heard about it otherwise.
