True, the full extent of the political problems are broad. I do think various U.S. states (as political entities) have to be given motivation to change (which could be through financial pressure). A boycott against North Carolina's bathroom bill in 2016 was briefly successful, but today NC is back on that BS. It may still be helpful to support friendly individuals and their inclusive small businesses wherever they may be, since they are doing good work or are just trying to make a living and they may be unable to go somewhere else.
