True, schools can and should educate about various differences that humans have. Otherwise, why be in school at all, if we're all the same from birth and if all of us already know everything? And, true, it's not a big ask: teach kids to be open-minded to each other, to respect each other, and to be curious. That is, to ask real questions in a sincere manner with serious research in good faith, not a trolling, aggressive way to waste someone's time or humiliate or exhaust them. It's easy to do & it's fundamental. We can't study & grow together if we don't see and respect each other. That's why in the US the Republicans are trying so hard to ban any mention of race and gender in schools. Mutual open-mindedness, respect, and inclusion is a natural part of education. Teachers will continue to teach it unless right-wing government finds a way to take it out of the schools by force.
