In my last article, I explained 10 ways in which messages that people shouldn’t be trans amount to messages that trans people shouldn’t exist. This meaning is evident according to the common sense of many trans people. What is called “common sense” is often a way of referring to things we truly do know. Trans people have a relevant perspective here. Many of us recognize that “trans people shouldn’t exist” is what these statements really mean.
