This administration is messing with all of us. Their policies aren't designed to be functional for us; they're designed to be functional for their purposes of doing something to us. In those two respects, the administration doesn't tell us how anything is going to work, because, in the former sense (re: our benefit), there is no answer, and in the latter sense (re: their intentions of harming or controlling us), they don't want us to know.

Anyhow, I wonder if you've seen Orion Rummler's January 28 story for The 19th, "The State Department is blocking new passports for trans Americans," which was cross-posted to Them. I guess that's all we know right now.
