Before reading tarot cards for someone, you should ask for their permission, and if they vote yes, you may do the reading.

Usually, that’s the rule.

But the 19 defendants in the Georgia election racketeering prosecution have (“allegedly!”) obstructed voting itself. Therefore, it’s fair and appropriate to read their cards without letting them vote. I didn’t ask them for their opinion. I simply recorded their vote as “yes.”

I drew six-card spreads with a deck of Tarot of the Abyss by artist Ana Cristina Tourian. I photographed the labels of the cards but not the artwork. You may purchase a copy of this deck.
