Spiritual Warriors: Decoding Christian Nationalism at the Capitol Riot is a 25-minute documentary. It was made by the Institute for Islamic, Christian, & Jewish Studies with Loud Communications and is available free online.

Matthew Taylor, a researcher of Christian Nationalism, earlier this month released his book The Violent Take It by Force: The Christian Movement That Is Threatening Our Democracy.

In the video, Taylor explains:

Charismatic Christians—independent, aka nondenominational—were involved in the attack on the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021. They perceive Donald Trump as Cyrus, anointed by God and fulfilling God’s prophecies. Trump of course adores this attention.
