We need to hold them accountable

It doesn’t look like the apocalypse. It is the apocalypse.

Two things come to mind.

First: It’s Exx-smog and Shell-smoke. They took the carbon out of the ground and sold it to be burned, which increased atmospheric CO2, which increased average global temperatures, which has led to megafires, which in turn increase atmospheric CO2. Second: This man needs to go to jail. Although encouraging fossil fuels and lying about science is not a crime he’s been charged with, he’s a defendant in other cases that could send him to prison. It’s important to hold him accountable for everything in all the relevant ways. He should not be president again. Must not, if “climate apocalypse” is a word that carries any weight.
