One strategy I use, when I want to cite a transphobic online comment, is screenshot it rather than link to it. A screenshot is an inert image. If I want to, I can draw on it to show my disrespect for it, saying something like "don't share this image." If I were to link to the original content in its original form, that might suggest I consider it an intellectual authority or a valid political position. My link would also add SEO value to the original publisher (and they don't deserve such a gift from me!) and would encourage my readers to engage directly with the original transphobic comment, instead of giving that engagement to those who have already critiqued and rejected the transphobia. I encourage inclusively trans/queer people to be savvy about this and link to each other's work so that our community's authority, SEO, and engagement is solidly ours and doesn't depend on people who hate us.
