Oh, I see. I was never involved in Harry Potter to begin with, and most trans people I follow have given up on Harry Potter-related anything because of JKR, so that's the perspective I almost always hear. I'm aware that some trans people still find a way to make space for themselves in Harry Potter while renouncing JKR. I just don't know any of the details of that because it's not my scene.
