Neither my essay nor Stephanie's comment said anything about children.

My essay was about how adults interact on a professional networking site, and Stephanie mentioned a celebrity who is verbally hostile to trans adults.

You changed the topic by asking at what age people should be allowed to "gender change." I don't know exactly which activities you had in mind by the phrase "gender change," and I don't really wish to find out, since your opinion about whether children should be allowed to do anything at all is off-topic here.

Your comments are examples of the difficult behavior I discussed in my essay. One type of such behavior is your attempt to change the topic. Another is your self-contradiction, as someone else pointed out. (This comment: Rowling "lives in fear of men and that informs her opinions of anybody who was born as a man." Your other comment: "most people do not fear homsexuality or trans people. Nope. Very little, if any, fear involved.")

Thanks anyway.
