It's a great option to have. Others will feel confident they're gendering you correctly. They may then be (collectively, on average) more likely to talk about your writing—as they'll avoid the awkwardness of not knowing what to call you. Pronouns are just helpful info, along with a name and bio. Most people do have a pronoun preference for themselves, and it helps to share it.

Some will prefer not to supply their pronouns because they're gender-flexible or they want the privacy of not answering this question. That's OK too. They can supply their pronouns if/when they're ready. And everyone else should respect their choice not to share. There are ways to phrase sentences to refer to an individual without any pronouns at all.
