I noticed the same paragraph. There's a difference between saying that the Internet emerged from our broken world and that we are happy to have the Internet, and, on the other hand, saying that the Internet could only have been created by capitalism and thereby implying that this one happy outcome retroactively justifies capitalism, colonialism, etc.
