I love the premise of a grieving friend who felt the need to write a biography to overcome his loss. Too bad that part wasn't real... not that I mean to wish an imaginary man into reality just so he can grieve, but. How capital-R Romantic.

I once hunted down an anonymous author: turns out, the publisher had scraped the work of three recently dead authors, so the plagiarized book had three authors who weren't aware of it.
