I can’t put 2+2 together on your comment. Why should a dating site require information that people aren’t morally obligated to disclose on a first date?
Again, my concern here isn’t that genders/bodies drive some people’s dating preferences (it seems inevitable), nor that some questionnaires are badly designed (since that is easily fixed). What I object to are the power dynamics in asking for someone’s sex assigned at birth. Who is demanding private information from whom? Who decides how the categories work and what the language is? Is there a reason for that dynamic, other than that cis people’s beliefs about trans people inherently matter more than trans people’s beliefs about themselves?
