In your article, where you say "performativity is ultimately harmful," I believe (from context) you refer to allyship that's merely performative (i.e., without real substance or impact) rather than to the performativity of living in one's own gender? In my article, I brought up performativity in the latter sense, which may be why I initially misread yours.
